Love these bifocals!
Posted by Pamela White on Jun 4th 2019
These bifocal wayfarer sunglasses are my favorite, especially for driving because I can see mph and the radio station call numbers! I have also received plenty of compliments whenever I wear them, especially because of the red arms. I would have given them a 5 rating except that they do tend to break a little too easily so handle with care! (Superglue and Elmer's have helped but those fixes don't last long. The last time they broke, I accidentally superglue'd an arm in the open position!) Despite all that, I consider them worth every penny and just to be on the safe side, ordered three new pair so I can have at least one on hand at home, in the car, and in the office (just in case I forget or lose a pair). Thanks American Reading Glasses! Love your variety and your styles!

Bifocal Wafarer Style Reading Glasses with Tinted Lens
Posted by Jerry on Jul 7th 2017
This set of glasses I keep in the car for daylight driving. They allow me to see at a distance and up close (instrument panel) while giving sun protection.

Graet product to drive
Posted by Serge on Jun 13th 2017
This is the perfect product to drive to let you read the instruments clearly. The bifocal is at the right height.
(I'm using 1.5)
Just know that the focal point for stronger strength will be closer, so check if if it work for you (you car instrument panel might be too far?)
Update: I wish they didn't increase the price. Not a incentive to give good review! -
Very Dark

Good outside and on the road but blind in the house or garage. Wish not quite so dark. Comfortable and sturdy though at $4 the pair it's hard to go wrong.

Cool looking, very dark
Posted by Blake on Jul 2nd 2015
These glasses look good, feel good and the bifocals are perfect for reading instruments and controls while driving. They are VERY dark on top and really shift colors, making the sky a brilliant turquoise while killing yellows and greens. Once you get used to the color shift, they work well on very bright days.
